About C & S Transmission

Founded in August of 1994 by Clayton Williams and Scott Fielding, C & S Transmission has been an independent, locally-owned and operated company. Since his childhood, Clayton has taken a particular interest in automobiles and how they operate. He would spend days watching his father repair the family car and other vehicles. It was during this time he learned the importance of maintaining cars and trucks to extend their lifetime.

After graduating from high school, Clayton decided his focus would be on rebuilding automatic transmissions. He learned computer-based diagnostic tools to further his knowledge of electronically-controlled automatic transmissions. Today, Clayton uses his 35 years of industry experience as a way of honouring his father through providing real value and outstanding transmission repairs and driveline services to the community, just as his father did years ago. C & S Transmission serves most of Vancouver Island, including Nanaimo, Ladysmith, Parksville, North Island, and Port Alberni.
